Corporate Identity refers less to reinventing the wheel in terms of your brand and image, and more to creating consistency surrounding your current brand. Is your brand refected in your printed material (like business cards and stationery) and day-to-day email communication? Constistency is one of your brand's greatest assets. |

Why is it that cartoon characters can get away with just about anything? Whatever the reason it's good news for us! By using cartoons to communicate things that are difficult to get across in person or in writing we're able to tackle all sorts of things that would otherwise remain unsaid. The above cartoon series was prepared as an internal campaign Compass Insurance during the course of 2008. The characters - Terence, Tiffany and Thandi - delivered commentary on the good, the bad and the ugly within the company. Actual issues and opinions were gleaned from employees and leadership during monthly workshops, and then translated into weekly Episodes. These were then mailed to all staff, and generally loaded with a follow-on statement or question. The campaign initiated direct and indirect conversation between leadership and staff - various issues were resolved as a result. |

The majority of us use email as our prime communication medium these days (even though making a phone call is probably quicker and more effective). If you receive as many emails as we do you're bound to delete a couple without reading them. Right? Even the nicest people on the planet do it! And the ones you don't delete? Do you read them ALL? Make sure your mail gets read by making it more interesting - something that's unusual visually will inevitably get more attention that something that's ordinary. The examples above are a countdown mailshot and some email stationery created for Inscape. |

We're not sure that we can turn you into Steve Jobs over night (here's a cool video link if you DO aspire to Steve's presentation-genius status), but we are able to tweak your presentations so that they're not the dreaded death by powerpoint kind of stuff! Circle and Square Training required slide elements that backed up their Visual Identity. They are a stylish and professional brand that appeals to both the circle and square traits of their corporate clients. |

Marketing is a longish word that encompasses all sorts of design-related goodies. There's advertisements, brochures, pamphlets and so on. Above is an example of two brand-conscious newspaper advertisement we designed for emmanuels.Their brand is classy and professional with just the right amount of streetsmarts and gumption thrown in. |

Websites mean different things to different companies. Their purpose is about as individualised as they are. It is therefore important to establish what it is that your site needs to do for you. Publicity and Marketing? Client reference? Sales? The above website is a work in progress for our sister company - xealll.org. The focus is on simplicity (who has time to read pages and pages of stuff these days?) with a bit of play thrown in. We're also working on a simulation for the site. |

Your logo paints a picture of what you're all about. Are you classy, professional and serious? Playful and trendy? Edgy and controversial? Cheeky? Down-to-earth? Hard-nosed? When deciding on a logo you might also ask "Where does my logo live?" and "Who interacts with it?". Something that works on the Internet might not work as effectively on the side of a truck - sometimes a middle ground must be sought. The logo and characters above were designed for a new play-school - Little Earthlings. The client wanted something fresh and modern that would appeal to both parents and children. |
